Planet of Zeus, from Athens, has been riffing hard since the turn of the century: the band spends more time on the road than sitting at home playing the ouzo. From living rooms to stadiums: Planet of Zeus plays anywhere they can plug in their amplifiers. Through the many performances, the band has developed its own sound that can best be described as a mix of dirty stoner and old-fashioned hard rock with hints of southern rock. Think of the Allman Brothers in the shoes of Josh Homme and his mates, where guitarist Stellias in his old school uniform blows you away with big riffs. Due to Covid, their last tour was canceled and they went into the studio to reinvent themselves. 'Afterlife', their sixth studio disc, is a test of strength between the beauty and the curse of human existence.

The five-piece Stonus originally comes from Cyprus, but has been making the world unsafe from London for some time now with their mix of psychedelic riffs, desert punk and doom rock. Pavlos Demetriou's guitar solos can be so intense that sometimes fire literally explodes from his guitar neck, while the rest of the band keeps things together with heavy drumming, thick bass lines and melodic vocals.
